ABOUT THE LOGO
Meet Teddy, (Theodore Roosevelt Delmonico) a symbol and testament of David’s passion for animal adoption and kindness to all animals. Outside of Real Estate, David enthusiastically supports an animal shelter that is very near and dear to him, See Spot Rescued. Founded in 2011 and originally based in New Jersey, See Spot Rescued has operated with a single purpose: to provide permanent, loving homes to every homeless dog. TEDDY’S ORIGIN
Teddy’s previous life was the mascot of David’s late mother’s fashion company, Blair Delmoinco, and has since evolved and adopted into his residential practice. His mother was a big advocate of creating clothing designs that were 100% ethical and cruelty-free, and was renowned for being an animal lover. This caught momentum at her fashion shows and would start a trend of giving her a puppy at the end of her shows in lieu of flowers to raise awareness for animal adoption and kindness to all animals.
David’s mother received Teddy at the end of the first runway show after launching her newest shop in Dallas. Teddy was not able to find a furever home that evening, so his mother decided to adopt him and take him home to New York City instead. A lucky dog indeed!
Teddy was the runt of his litter and was David’s constant companion and his best friend. Unfortunately, he was stricken with MS when he was only 6 years old. His life was short but his memory long. Teddy is seen everywhere, everyday, and we feel his presence. Red Jacket Royalty.
