Red Jacket Residential

About

Passion. Experience. Commitment.

David is truly a one of a kind broker, perfectly suited for both Town and Country. From the beginning of his real estate career, David set himself apart with his mannered and patient approach to his clients, whether they be buyers, sellers or renters. A resident of Little Falls, New Jersey, he is truly an exquisite example of old world standards meeting new world savvy; the perfect bridge between New York and New Jersey’s History and that of its Future.

A native of Princeton with New York family roots dating back nearly 200 years, its history, its neighborhoods and its surroundings have never been far from David’s thoughts. His extensive first-hand experience and knowledge of the ever-changing face of our state provides David’s clients with a unique vision of what is yet to be and where opportunity may be living next. Floor to Floor. Door to Door. Town to Town.

David’s real estate clients also benefit from his noted home staging company, Edge MCM. Seamlessly blending the ever changing world of interior design with the needs and requirements of real estate marketing have elevated David from his competition, and earned his firm recognition through a series of articles and videos for The New York Times. As he says, “Best Practices bring Best Results”.

Beyond his focused areas of Little Falls, Glen Ridge, Upper East Side, and Soho, David was named the first Exclusive Broker for the legendary Carlyle Hotel since the 1930s. As many have remarked, The Carlyle could not have selected a more perfect ambassador for their brand and their property, bringing integrity, loyalty and discretion to each and every one of his discerning clients.

His signature Red Jacket comes from a distinguished career in fashion and interior design. After working for legendary Bonwit Teller, David became the Managing Director of Blair Delmonico, bringing the design firm to international acclaim via Harrods, Saks Fifth Avenue, Town & Country, Vogue and Harper’s Bazaar.

A seasoned veteran, formidable negotiator and fiercely responsible advocate for his buyers, sellers and investors, David has built a career on delivering results for his clientele, who more often than not become friends for life.

About the Logo

Meet Teddy, (Theodore Roosevelt Delmonico) a symbol and testament of animal adoption and kindness to all animals. Outside of Real Estate, David volunteers at a no-kill animal shelter that is dear to him, See Spot Rescued. Founded in 2011 and originally based in New Jersey, See Spot Rescued has operated with a single purpose: to provide permanent, loving homes to every homeless dog.

For more information, please visit their site here.

Teddy’s Origin

Teddy’s previous life was the mascot of David’s late mother’s fashion company and has since evolved and adopted into his residential practice. His mother was a big advocate of creating clothing that were 100% ethical, cruelty-free products and was renowned for being an animal lover. This caught wind at her fashion shows and would start a trend of giving her a puppy at the end of her shows instead of flowers to raise awareness for animal adoption and kindness to all animals.

David’s mother received Teddy at the end of her very first runway show after opening up her new shop in Dallas. Teddy was not able to find a furever home, so my mother decided to adopt him and take him home to New York City instead.

Teddy was the runt of his litter and was David’s constant companion and his best friend. Unfortunately, he was stricken with MS when he was 6 years old. His life was short but he will never be forgotten. Teddy is seen everywhere, everyday, and feel his presence. Red Jacket Royalty.
